RECIPES
Onion and Bacon Tart
Ingredients: 
- 2 cups of white onions
- ½ cup of bacon, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 table spoons of butter
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup of breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Ina large frying pan melt the butter and fry the white onions with salt (low heat) until they are transparent; add the garlic and the bacon, season with salt and pepper and fry for 4 minutes. Take the mixture off the fire and let it cool down.
In a bowl bate the eggs with the milk, cream and season with salt and pepper. Add the above mixture that has been cooled down to the bowl and put in the mozzarella cheese and half the breadcrumbs. Check that the salt and pepper are fine.
Butter a oven pan and pour the mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the breadcrumbs over the pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a 200C oven or until cooked.
It can be served hot or cold.
