Meatballs in basil sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of mince meat
- ¼ cup of white onions, finely chopped
- ¼ spoon of cumin
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- ½ liter of beef stock
- 1 cup of cream
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Put into a bowl the mince meat with the white onions, cumin, parsley, egg and some salt and pepper, mix well and make small balls. Put the oil into a large frying pan and fry each meatball until brown. Add the garlic and basil and fry for 1 minute. Add the beef sock and simmer for 30 minutes, season with salt and pepper. When it has thicken add the cream and let it simmer again for 5 to 8 minutes.
