Fritada

Ingredients:

  • 5 pounds of pork meat
  • 4 stems of onion (puerro)
  • 10 garlic cloves, skinned and crushed
  • 1 cup of water or beer
  • 2 spoons of cumin
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

Wash the meat and cut into squares. Put in a paila and add the salt, cumin, onion, garlic, beer or water; cook and golden stirring from time to time. (approx. 2 hours)

Serve hot with lettuce and chili sauce. Llapingachos is also recommended.
