Fillet steak in mushrooms sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 fillet steaks medallions
- 2 cups of chopped mushrooms
- 3 spoons of butter
- 1 spoon of butter
- ¼ cup of white onions
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 table spoon of parsley
- ½ cup of cream
- 4 cups of beef stock
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
In a frying melt the butter and put the fillets to fry at very low temperature, season with some salt and pepper each side. Cover the frying pan with a top to cook through the medallion, turn every 2 to 3 minutes to medium or well done.
In another frying pan melt 1 spoon of butter and add the onion and garlic, season with salt. Fry for 5 minutes at medium fire. Add the mushrooms and some more salt elevate the fire and add the parsley and half the beef stock, let it reduce. Add the rest of the beef stock and reduce again. Afterwards, season the sauce with some more salt and pepper. Add the cream and mix well with the mushrooms check it seasoning I fine and add the steaks.
Serve hot with Mushroom and garlic bread.
