Fettuccine in Chicken and basill sauce

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of Fettuccine dry pasta
  • 2 chicken breast, skinned and diced
  • 2 spoons of butter
  • 1 cup of fresh basil, finely chopped
  • ½ cup of white onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

In a large frying pan melt the butter and add the white onions and the garlic. Fry at low heat for 4 minutes. Add the chicken breasts, fry for 4 minutes; add the basil, stir for 3 minutes and finally add the tomatoes. Add the cream and season with salt and pepper. Let it boil at low heat for 4 minutes.

In a saucepan put 1.5 liters of water to boil with salt; add the Fettucicine pasta and cook (all dente) for approx 7 minutes. Strain the pasta.
