Spinach Soup |
Ingredients
Preparation Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onions and allow them to fry on a medium heat until cooked, approx 5 minutes gently stirring. Add the chicken stock and the spinach and bring to the boil, add salt and pepper and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the milk , let it simmer for 5 minutes. Before serving add dry basil and more salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with traditional butter bread. |
